WHY NEED TO CONFIGURE EMAIL ?- This will allowed you to send out MASS MAILER
- This will allowed you to send out verification email while member join.
First you will need to make an email from your cPanel, we will not explain here how to create your email from hosting panel (cpanel) during those are many different hosting panel on the net, you may contact your hosting support for this.
In this tutorial we assume you ALREADY making an email through your hosting panel (cpanel). Here the details(example):
Host: localhost
email: admin@yoursitename.com
password: your_email_password
Incoming Mail Server: mail.yoursitename.com
Now go to your site administration panel and g to:
Settings > Site settings > eMail SettingsFill up the form with ABOVE Email information we get from hosting panel(cPanel.)
Mail Method: SMTP
username: admin@yoursitename.com
Password: your_email_password
SMTP Host: localhost
Mail Host[HELO]: mail.yoursitename.com

Some hosting does support SENDMAIL system, if this SMTP not work then you may try to change
Mail Method to
SENDMAIL instead of SMTP.
